Dr Bart Van den Bosch

Chief Information Officer; has developed the in-house built KWS system since 1990. Dr Van den Bosch heads a group of 150+ IT personnel, of which 70+ are high level Java developers.
Dr Van den Bosch started the Nexuz program which provided the KWS system to other Flemish hospitals under a collaboration contract in the KU Leuven Flemish Hospital Network.

Dr Frank E. Rademakers

Dr Rademakers trained as a cardiologist and is responsible at Board level for the Diagnostic Platform (all diagnostic medical departments), medical technology, IT and innovation at University Hospitals Leuven. Dr Rademakers is involved in basic research in cardiac mechanics and imaging and in process research at hospital level; as a result Dr Rademakers has over 100 peer reviewed articles; is on the editorial board of leading journals in cardiology; and has tutored several PhDs and Masters theses. Dr Rademakers is a Board member of several Flemish Hospitals and involved in the reorganisation of regional health care in Flanders.
